WathiqCare is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of all personal health data processed through this platform. This policy describes how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your information in accordance with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and applicable healthcare regulations.

1. Data We Collect

We collect patient health information, clinical documentation, staff authentication credentials, and facility configuration data strictly as necessary to operate the discharge refusal management workflow.

2. How We Use Your Data

All collected data is used exclusively to (a) generate legally required medical discharge documentation, (b) maintain compliance audit trails, (c) support legal escalation workflows, and (d) provide platform analytics to authorized administrators.

3. Data Storage & Security

Data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.3. All data is stored in GDPR and PDPL compliant cloud infrastructure. Access is role-based and fully audited.

4. Data Retention

Medical records and audit logs are retained for the minimum period required by Saudi MOH regulations and applicable healthcare law. Tenants may request data deletion after the mandatory retention period expires.

5. Your Rights

Under the PDPL, you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal data. Requests may be submitted to privacy@wathiqcare.online.
